Josh Pina is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at KEBT. He earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University, where he was honored with the Clinical Excellence Award for his commitment to promoting wellness and compassionate care.

Josh is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and works with both teens and adults who struggle with emotional dysregulation, relationship conflict, and behavioral challenges. He also specializes in working with individuals navigating substance use disorders and currently leads the Northeast Florida Safety Council treatment program at KEBT.

Josh is passionate about helping clients build emotional insight, self-control, and more fulfilling interpersonal connections. His approach is structured, collaborative, and deeply grounded in DBT principles.

Outside of the therapy room, Josh enjoys relaxing with his dog and catching up on sports or favorite shows.
